Linck has a legal mandate to protect and support the well-being of children and youth. We are available to accept reports of children and youth in need of protection 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Linck offers individual, family and group counselling to children, adolescents and their families.  We are here to help resolve many kinds of emotional, behavioral and psychological difficulties.

Linck provides infant and child developmental services and special needs resources to promote early identification and intervention for children with extra needs. Our programs are designed to support the full inclusion of all children in childcare settings.

If a child or youth cannot live safely at home, their parents are supported to seek help from extended family, kin, friends, and their community to ensure a child lives safely with people they know and trust.

If a child or youth cannot live safely at home, and kin are not available, foster caregivers provide children and youth with a safe, temporary, family setting during a difficult and confusing time.

Adoption is one option Children’s Aid Societies consider when looking for life-long connections for children and youth in care.
